The registration for the intensive Polish language course for foreign students at the UW is open now. The course attendees will acquire basic vocabulary and phrases to communicate efficiently not only at the university but also in a daily life.
Each year the Welcome Point of the University of Warsaw offers a 2-week intensive Polish language course for students from abroad. The classes are free of charge. The second round of registration via IRK is open till 16th August.
The classes can be attended by:
- 2nd and 3rd year students of 1st cycle programme;
- 4th and 5th year students of uniform Master studies;
- students of 2nd cycle programme.
During 40 hours of classes the students are taught basic vocabulary and phrases that are both useful in everyday communication and helpful in academic procedures. The course also covers lectures on the Polish culture. Besides it is a splendid opportunity to meet people who came to study in Poland from various parts of the world.
The course starts on 19th September and lasts until the end of the month. The classes are held from Monday to Friday between 10:00 – 13:30, at the UW campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28. English is the language of instruction.

Intensive Polish Language Course’ is organised within the Integrated Development Programme at the University of Warsaw and funded by European Social Fund. The objective, pursuing at the University of Warsaw between 2018-2022, is to develop competence of students and employees as well as implement the instruments which upgrade the management process of the University of Warsaw.
