Chemistry Bachelor

Chemistry has been offered to students at the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw for the longest period of time. It is constantly modified and the changes are aimed at improving the quality of education and adapting the course in order to adjust to requirements of the modern, demanding labour market.

A special feature of the bachelor’s degree is the fact that diploma thesis must contains an experimental part (NOT only literature). The main goal of bachelor’s degree is provide to the students solid foundation of chemistry, so it can be used in the more interdisciplinary master degree.

Our students, while carrying out their diploma thesis, take part in scientific research at international level. That is why our students often win many competitions and annually receive different scholarships.

Courses within this programme are conducted in Polish. However, there is a possibility of conducting selected courses in English for international students.
